BIO#

Firstly, I am a Yogi. Yoga reflects my ethos and the way in which I carry out my actions are deeply informed by self reflection and disection of the world around me.

I am also an artist and maker.

Currently, this path has taken me to the magical world of costuming for film and television and styling fashion shoots.

For the past four years, I have been working in this, assisting in all areas of production: prep work, fabrication of costumes, fittings and styling, buyer/shopper and set. This work has greatly inspired to to seek out new technologies to bring the furthest ideas of imagination to a tangible place, but it has also greatly toubled me to see first hand how these omniprescent industries such as fashion and film use and dispose of materials in an "I need it yesterday" mentality.

My passion for sustainable design evolved from an idealism of promoting and advocating the environment to counter the epidemic of the fast-fashion world. In this spirit I created up-cycled vintage clothing brand which has branched out to include jewellery designs with the same attitude of mindfulness and zero waste. Using recycled materials, natural dyes and preloved vintage fabrics or charms to complete each look. My aesthetic is inspired from nature, sacred geometry, alchemy and spiritual practices.

I hope through my work to merge cloth with earth, and mirror the deep connection which exists shelled under our second skin (clothing) with land, place, elements; Gaia.

AIM: SUSTAINABLE DESIGN#

For me an object is something living.
This cigarette or this box of matches contains a secret life much more intense than that of certain human beings.
When I see a tree, I receive an impact as if it were somebody breathing, somebody speaking. A tree, too, is something human.

Natural dyes + mindfulness

We inter-breath with the rain forests.
We drink from the oceans.
They are part of our own body.
