2. Digital bodies#

This week is about digital bodies,and how to built a mannequin, using new tools and softwares. I have previous experience in making 3D scans of people. I used sense scanner and 3D system sense software to acquire the scan. During scan many errors apeared because I moved the scanner faster in some places, after many errors and tries finally I have my body scanned completed.

After scanning, I used meshmixer software, this software helps me to edit, cut away the part that not needed. and clean up the body scan.

Slicer for Fushion 360

Its a tool to turn a digital 3D models into appealing artefacts. It slices and converts 3D models into 2D patterns that can cut out of any flat material.
