13. Skin Electronics¶
This was a week I was really excited about since I started exploring the course, but I cannot say that it met my expectations. Obviously, my imagination was too vivid and that sort of things are still not something that can be easily done, especially in less than a week and with my electronics skills! We were suggested by Kate Vega to make something related to upcoming holidays so we could celebrate together, therefore this week was more easygoing.
Idea¶
I started with the idea of using a small vibrating motor and ultrasonic proximity sensor which would move a wire with bells attached to it and hence the bells would ring.
Motor -> Vibration = ringing bells
However, after the first try, the bells did not ring as well as I had imagined and in the end it became a sort of Elf Christmas Hat.
