7. Computational Couture

This assignment it is a challenge for me, since I studied my master I really wanted to learn how to use Parametric design through Grasshopper, but for me since always it's have been hard, So I have to put double effort in this because I really like the assignment but the truth is that for me is hard to learnd it hahahaha

INSPIRATION

  • Ganit Goldstein: I really love her aesthetics, the way she applied the 3d printed in their design on the outfits is so fabulous, but what I love the most of her is how she combined craft techniques. In the following video she explain how she expend one year in Japa learning craft tradition on textiles end then how she combined both it is really amazing, the colors, the design, the techniques it is so smarth as beautiful.

  • Iris van Herpen: She is another one, actually I mentioned her before as an inspiration, she works deeply with parametric design, now in the last collection she used a electronics crown that moves really cool, this one also with parametric design, she was my favorite fashion paramtric designer until I meet Ganit, becue she is into the crafts and technology and Iris is only into technology, but any anyway Iris is THE queen hahaha AMAZING!
