BLLURA MUSA
The name " Bllura" means crystal in Arabic - [BAL-LURA] The name is Musa translated as, “Newborn” and/or “saved by the water”. Also it is the Latin of Muse which is (in Greek and Roman mythology) each of nine goddesses, the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, who preside over the arts and sciences.

Water levels are falling at an average rate of three feet per year. According to a recent governmental study, the rate of evaporation will slow and the Dead Sea will reach equilibrium again in a few decades—but not before losing another third of its present volume. Such a scenario represents an immeasurable loss."- The Dying of the Dead Sea | Science | Smithsonian Magazine
Welcome to the lowest point on earth -the land of nature’s greatest contrasts. A place that doesn’t play by the rules. No sea creatures grow there due to the very salty water but there's always a twist
Project Planning
- What is BLLURA MUSA?

its/her/his Role as the Creature will be protecting the area and at the same time scaring and intimidating the people interested in the extraction of minerals and natural resources for their economic interests
- How?
merging different technologies and methodologies like 3D printing, computational couture electronics, and crystallizations (mimicking crystals by 3D printing the different geometries there plus growing crystals mimicking the color shades + have 2 layers of tulle for the rest of the dress with 2 shades turquoise and blue mimicking the waves ... using them grow crystals on plus attaching 3dD printed small crystals and glow in the dark unique crystal geometry )
- Where?

Previously you would see below I had several mood boards about several places in Jordan but it was distracting so the jurors advised me to stick to one only.

Coco Chanel already said it: “Fashion is architecture, it's a question of proportions”.
Oscar's comments:
- collaborate more with local designers, you do not have to be the fashion designer just provide your hi-tech solutions... so just collaborate with more local handcrafts
more comments I got:
- to choose one mood board only and one place and STICK TO IT! to be more precise among all the places of inspiration From Jordan
So I decided to stick to the Dead sea Mood board and get inspiration from the crystals and in that, I went more in-depth as seen at top of the page
