01 First Garment

FIRST GARMENT¶

For the first garment, I decided to do some laser engraving on denim, for this I designed a denim jacket and some denim trousers on Clo 3D and did a simulation of the engraving in order to fit the picture on the clothing. On the back of the jacket I engraved a picture of a robotic torso and on the bottom some robotic legs. Both pictures were modified using two different softwares, the one on the back was alterated using photoshop in order to apply some dots, which is the best way to go if you want your image to be defined after the engraving process, because, if the image does not have a pretty high contrast, it is not going to be very visible. The other image was modified using a pretty basic grasshopper definition, an Image Sample definition, which converts the image in a collection of dots.
