Alice Sowa¶
Hiya!
I'm Alice Sowa, a designer currently based in Blönduós, Iceland participating in Fabricademy's 2022/2023 Textile Academy where we are exploring the intersection between textiles, digital fabrication, and biology.
I have a BFA in Industrial Design and a minor in Sustainability from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and was previously a Junior Product Designer at Fit and Fresh in Providence, Rhode Island where I designed fashion forward lunch bags, coolers, travel bags, and diaper bags.
In a snap shot, I am an interdisciplinary designer drawn to textiles, ceramics, cultural exchanges, and using design as a means for discovery and connection. I am creatively inspired by many things but most notably my passion for the great outdoors from ocean to mountains and beyond.
