Métamorphose

Metamorphose par Audrey kalic

What

I want to create an evolutionary costume with two stages: before and after the metamorphosis process. It would symbolise the inner strength we can release when we are able to connect to our deepest emotions. A particularly powerful emotion triggers the metamorphosis of the human organism which is thus transformed into a mythical creature: the dragon. The skin becomes scaly and wrinkled, horns grow all over the body.

why

I have a fascination with the dragon and myths and legends.

Before Fabricademy, I started the project of making a significant size dragon out of paper mache. The advantage of paper mache is that you can modify the project many times. I changed the dragon's posture several times by breaking his arms and legs. I want to create a realistic posture and muscle position in the creature. So when the posture is too static and looks unnatural, I start again. So it's a long process.

Definitions

Deployable structures transformation refers to the ability of structures to change their shape or configuration during deployment or use. These types of structures are used in a variety of applications, ranging from military operations and disaster relief efforts to space exploration and entertainment events. The transformation can be achieved through a variety of methods, including folding, unfolding, expanding, or contracting. The primary advantage of this technology is that it allows structures to be transported in a compact form and then quickly deployed and assembled, providing a fast and agile response to emergencies or changing needs. Additionally, deployable structures can be customized to meet specific requirements and can enable more efficient use of space in urban or remote environments.
