GANTT¶
This future planning stuff is not my favourite thing to do to be absolutely honest. The 2 whole first days trying to work in this I feel I would have been much better used actually working on my project or just working on an old fashioned chalkboard. After trying to work in Miro unsucessfully, my first attempts in Clickup format drove me to the point of despair as you cant just combine the calendars and all the colours offended me. I made it dark mode and it embeds in white. Honestly, someone should really design much better versions of these programs.
I actually changed over in the end to Asana and its a bit more user freindly. After working with it for a couple of months it decided to not show me the original plan I made as thats for subscribers only but the calendar function still works fine. When I decided to try and embed it here and it also doesnt embed of course so you are going to have to use the good old fashioned clickable link below if you are an Asana subscriber you can see the whole thing....

BoM - Bill of Materials¶
When it comes to materials I am forever grateful for my geeky partner Nonni who decided to start making his own modular synths electronic products a couple of years ago. Our house is now filled with cheap components from China that I do not have to wait months to be delivered so my BoM is actually pretty well stocked. Theres a few bits and pieces I will need to source but I am hoping that I can maybe use broken electronics to get some Lipo batteries that are not available to buy anywhere in Iceland. I also have a lot of super nice fish leather I bought at the boot camp in 2019.
Hardware¶
I made a BOM for all of my available materials at the beginning of the project.

Fish Leather¶
Here you can see the range of fish leathers I have collected. They have different textures, colours and finishes which I will have to experiment with to get working correctly.
3D Printing Filament¶
I plan to use 3D printing for mould making and also for making connections between parts of the final piece so I have ordered some interesting filaments to play with.
- Add North Premium Silk in Red and Blue
- ProtoPasta Conductive PLA
- REFLECT-O-LAY Retro Reflective.

Mentor Advice¶
During the mentorship process I really appreciated the peer support from those participants in my group alongside the steady and calm guidance of Diane. I don´t think there was anything I hadn´t thought of already in terms of trying to get my heatbeat as trigger and I felt I did a terrible job of explaining my project at the time. Lessons learned.
