Research on The Jordanian Embroidery¶
I was trying to find anything about the Jordanian heritage in fashion and wearables but it was very difficult to find because of the lack of resources and studies so I decided to start a research on the Jordanian wearables and embroidery patterns and how it changes from one area to another

I went to the museum of popular traditions in Jordan and here is some pictures of what women used to wear in Jordan in different areas
I found a very interesting weaving machines they were put in a room called the weaving room it contains different types of loom: - The vertical loom: it is specially used for making carpets and mattress, the threads were inserted after being washed and dyed. this type of looms were found in Al-Husun, Al-Salt and Madaba.
- The horizontal loom: it is specially used for weaving the tents, it was popular around the Jordan river area and Palestine
Fire Test¶
