INTRODUCTION¶
To begin with, I wanted to develop a technique I used in my paintings and prints from a previous project to find a new way of painting from natural sources, rethinking the way of using colors and materials. I then wanted to explore the color theory and create my own storytelling of colors and feelings through my design.

Process¶
I experimented with different technques in order to find the most appropriate, that would fit the vision I had for the final product. Although I struggled to achieve some of them, I learned a lot from the tryouts and want to develop them and learn more in the future. I manage to convey the message at the end.
you can find a presentation of the process here
SKETCHES AND INSPIRATION¶
Below there are some sketches I made for the developement of the idea for the final design whereas the moodboard for storytelling and the video script

Connecting wool felting with marbling, memories, music, nature and festivals. The greek word 'Pelagos' which means Higher Sea led me to create my own pattern. Colors express memories and feelings.

The idea is to show the marbling technique in connection with the water, the earth , natural paints, and the Aegean Sea. The model has a wet look like she going out of the water showing how to hang the garment and connect it with memories in nature.

REFLECTION¶
Overall, I was satisfied with the the marbling storytelling through the patterns I made. I realised that it can be possible. Colors are all about science and hard to achieve. Being introduced the wool felting technique, I wanted to show the importance of handcrafted design and traditional techniques in fashion art and design. I would like to develop further the marbling technique with natural dyes and different recipes as long as the wool felting technique and it's possibilities.
