Short story long - How did I get here?¶

Im an Argetinian, born and raise in Buenos Aires, beautiful and caotic city. I studied Visual Arts at Universidad del Museo Argentino and specilizated on engraving. I think my time at the University gave me the ground to start questioning about the ways of making art. I started feeling uncomfortable with times, materials and tecniques of produccion; suddenly art had no sense for me anymore. I decided to grab my bags and travell around my country, searching for forgetten and popular knowlege from abuelas y abuelos, ancestral data thats reveals diferent ways of relating with our sorroudings. I discorvered the wonders of weeds and fire. The idea of artisan and crafts began to take root in me. A needle, some threads, and pieces of fabric were my tools to travel light weight and make some money. This journey consisted on emboroider, developing art workshop for kids specialy in rural areas and learning a lot from all living and not living things that came to my encounter.

Back home, after 2 nomad , needing some gounding, I decided to set up my workspace and develop my practise. This time based in the search for more caring and affective ways. At this point my studio is a laboratory, a kitchen, and a place to explore, research and treasured tiny, delicated, forgotten or rotten things.
