About

Hello there!

My name is Ainhoa Cadarso, and I am from Bilbao. I recently finished my Bachelor's in Fashion Design, and I am so excited to continue my journey and open my mind to what Fabricademy has to offer. I'm looking forward to these new challenges, and I'm hoping to learn new ways of reinterpreting and reimaging the field of design.

What attracts me the most about design is being able to create an imaginary world in which I can fantasize and reinterpret everything. Being able to question everything around me and transfer it to the material. Being able to create a piece from the imaginary world that moves and invites to think and rethink what has been learned. This is why dreams define my work. Through them I can express myself and transmit a hidden and complex world. I immerse myself in them, to be able to look inside myself, going into the depths of my being to be able to find parts of me that only belong to that reality. Thanks to fashion I can create a bridge that connects the material, tangible world with the dream world, my inner world. Through this, I aim to transport the viewer to an illusory world, where color and textures are the tools that shape my creations. Pieces that tell stories hidden in my own inner world and that can connect with the dream universe of each individual. For me, the fundamental thing is to share a piece of that dream world in which everything is possible. I like to create pieces that are not simply garments, but almost sculptural pieces that tell stories and speak for themselves. I am inspired by the idea of creating a fantasy world through fashion, a world that invites

Echoes of a Dream

Fashion Design Bachelor's Degree final project The Echoes of a Dream project dives headfirst into the realm of dreams to explore how these subjective, ephemeral and often enigmatic visions, can be transformed into the tangible world, transcending the limits of Reality. In this way, the collection is presented as a means of union between the tangible and dream worlds. The collection aims for the viewer to reflect on the importance of connecting with the individual inner world to complete the Self. In this sense, the kingdom of Dreams are presented as the space in which this inner world exists, reigned by the subconscious. This dream world shapes the space in which The collection takes place in which the different characters can be found. That makes storytelling. Starting from the conceptual universe that surrounds the collection, three female characters as protagonists of the season. These three women or female characters represent the soul. Following the Platonic theory of the division of the soul, these three figures represent three different parts of the soul. On the one hand there is the logos, related to reason; on the other hand the thymos, related to the spirit; and finally eros, which embodies desires.
