All perceiving is also thinking, all reasoning is also intuition, all observation is also invention.

About me

I'm Christina, a visual artist and educator who enjoys investigating the intersections of art, culture, and psychology. With a background in Stage Design (Bachelor's and Master's degrees), and now pursuing a PhD in Art Education. I'm interested in the fusion of modern technology with arts and crafts. How seemingly basic items like points and lines may evoke intense emotions and serve as the inspiration for artistic undertakings intrigues me. My research emphasises on how these basic shapes, despite its seeming simplicity, can tell complex stories and evoke complex emotions. I get inspiration from the organic shapes and patterns found in nature, using them as a framework to think about time and how we feel about it.

My background

I am a resident of the amazing nation of Armenia, where the natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and rich history never cease to inspire me. Whether from BC, the Middle Ages, or even present times, archaeologists find something new every day, and these findings have a big impact on my creative work. I can't fathom a life apart from creating art. I started my artistic adventure in art school, carried on to art college, and then decided to specialise in stage design, where I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. In addition to my love of photography, stage design, and costume design, I'm particularly excited in making collages with a range of mediums and methods. Aside from my own work, I like teaching kids and assisting them in discovering their creative potential. I can excite young minds and help them realise the limitless possibilities of art by teaching.
