  1. Remember to credit/reference all your images to their authors. Open source helps us create change faster together, but we all deserve recognition for what we make, design, think, develop.

  2. remember to resize and optimize all your images. You will run out of space and the more data, the more servers, the more cooling systems and energy wasted :) make a choice at every image :)

This image is optimised in size with resolution 72 and passed through tinypng for final optimisation. Remove tips when you don't need them anymore!

reverse objectification of genitalia ****** ADDDDD namila bags rico nasty carryall tote bag / beach / grocery bag, originally wanted to do a netted carry all bag using slit method. once i was developing the bag with the penis straps, i decided that didnèt fit my vision anymore. kept it simple with fully closed body. had to be comfortable , thickness for security on strap opted for leather, soft and maluable for body to be able to add rouching effect

Tools

Process and workflow

Step 1 - Design

immediately i went to pinterest for some inspiration on my design and I saw bags like this that gave me the idea to do a slit method carry all bag with thick interlocking straps.

shagbag

greenshagbag

i started sketching my ideas based off the examples seen in class of previous work as well as the pinterest inspo.

Step 2 - Modelling

then i got to modelling my pieces, using the below cartoons as inspo.

these were my first mock ups of what the bag will be.

Step 3 - Drafting

then i got to drafting on rhino to make my cut layout for laser scanning. i started with the strap then did the body of the bag. issues i came across in this process was the scaling of the pieces. they didnt quite come out the same size because of last minute changes to the scale. and some were cut off, but in the end i had enough to complete the bag.

footnote fabrication files

Fabrication files are a necessary element for evaluation. You can add the fabrication files at the bottom of the page and simply link them as a footnote. This was your work stays organised and files will be all together at the bottom of the page. Footnotes are created using [ ^ 1 ] (without spaces, and referenced as you see at the last chapter of this page) You can reference the fabrication files to multiple places on your page as you see for footnote nr. 2 also present in the Gallery.
