3. Circular Open Source Fashion¶
Research & Ideation¶

Since many years ago I've had curiosity about knowing more about geometrical aspects for drawing, specially in combination with computational approaches for that.
So this assignment it's for me the oportunity for research about the fundamentals for that question.
My first motivation is researching for the mathematics behind tesselation and seamless assembly process.
Also, for me is very important the connection with the main motivation of the assignment, achieve circular and zero waste processes of fabrication.
Paper proto-module¶
I love paper sensation and material, but I have to say that in many years, in part for the use of computer, I feel that I don't play enough with paper, but I have to say that my favorite aproach is scissors cutting collage processes, I love the sensation of make visual compositions with cutted images fromm old books and magazines.
But this time the zero waste challenge is different, I didn't have idea about how to start, but after seeing Claudia's tutorial and researching about tesselation, I could star tinkering with some cutting ideas.
First tinkering trial (Not Zero Waste) |
I decided to star with a not fine measuring process, just cutting trying to follow some seamless principles, I knew this paper process wil give me some insights and reinforcemente
Second tinkering trial (Zero-waste) |
