HUMAN:What are we made of?¶
"Human essence is not only defined by what we see, but by what surrounds us and composes us on levels that we do not perceive with the naked eye. This project is a journey into the invisible, towards the traces we leave and those that inhabit us.
My exploration began with a fundamental question: How does what we are manifest beyond the tangible? To answer it, I scanned my face and turned it into a set of pieces molded with biomaterials, representing the diversity and fragility of our existence. The project "Human: what are we made of?" is a material and sensory exploration of humanity through biomaterials and microorganisms. Throughout the process, I experimented with microbial cultures collected from personal objects and spaces, encapsulating them in bioresin to form fragments of my face—a tangible metaphor for how our environment and experiences shape us.
Beyond the visual aspect, I integrated technology to translate the textures and colors of the microorganisms into sound frequencies, creating a composition that transforms living matter into an auditory language. Through this, I sought to represent that humanity is not only defined by biology but also by our interactions with the environment, the memories we leave behind, and the ways in which we resonate in the world."

Conslusion¶
"This project serves as a reminder that we are interconnected organisms, influenced by our history, our surroundings, and our passions. The variability of the materials used—their sensitivity to temperature, humidity, and time—reflects the impermanence and constant transformation of life itself. At its core, "Human: what are we made of?" aims to capture the complexity of our existence through science, art, and technology, opening a conversation about what it means to be human in a world where the biological and the digital increasingly converge
