Concept¶
Introduction¶
This project stems from a reflection on the concept of internal "chaos" as both a creative and disturbing force simultaneously. Chaos is not just disorder; it is a psychological and intellectual state that pushes us to reconsider the self and identity.
The project is inspired by personal psychological experiences and aims to transform the inner conflict into a visual and interactive form through textiles and modern technologies.
CHAOS¶
The objective of this collection is to express the profound internal conflict I am experiencing, particularly the battle between the ego, superego, and id, and the emotional impact of these psychological forces. I aim to capture the feelings of tension and loss of identity that arise from these struggles, highlighting the emotional fluctuations and internal disconnection they create.
The conflict I want to emphasize revolves around the ongoing struggle to understand and express myself amidst feelings of fragmentation, isolation, and psychological turmoil. Through this collection, I reflect my journey through these challenges, offering a visual representation of the complex layers of internal conflict and their impact on my existence and perception of the world.
moodboard¶
The moodboard expresses the overall atmosphere and core spirit of the Chaos collection. The colors used range from dark tones with touches of red and yellow, alongside a clear contrast between black and white. These colors reflect internal tension, conflict, and the fluctuating emotional state that represents inner chaos. The dark colors symbolize mystery and psychological depth, while the warm colors represent sparks of emotion and emotional eruption.
The textures and materials in the board vary between rigid and flexible, rough and smooth, symbolizing the internal contradictions experienced by the individual and how these psychological and mental layers clash inside. The fabrics may be irregularly shaped or have tangled folds, serving as a physical representation of chaos.
The visual compositions include irregular shapes and intertwined lines that reflect a state of disorder and mixed harmony. Each element highlights a sense of imbalance, yet together they form a unity expressing chaos as a creative state.
The symbolism and psychological impact in the moodboard suggest that chaos is not merely disorder, but a state full of creative potential that generates new ideas and identities. The board conveys a sense of deep psychological and mixed emotions that the collection aims to express.

Artistic and Philosophical Inspirations¶
- Freud: The Id, Ego, and the conflict between them.
- Descartes: Doubt as a method, consciousness as identity.
- Gilles Deleuze: Chaos as a source of creativity.
some Inspiration from philosophers
rene descarts¶
The Soul as a Non-Material Substance: • Descartes considered the soul (or mind) to be an independent, non-material substance distinct from the physical body. • Its primary function is thinking(Cogito), meaning the soul is the sole source of consciousness and perception. • His famous statement: “I think, therefore I am”(Cogito, ergo sum), demonstrated the soul’s existence as the foundation of consciousness.
Sigmund Freud¶
• This instinctual nature reflects unconscious chaos, uncontrolled and primal.
• Example: A person experiencing extreme hunger might act irrationally or aggressively to obtain food.
• The Superego:
• Represents societal values, moral principles, and social norms acquired from family and culture.
• When the superego becomes overly rigid, it can cause feelings of guilt or anxiety, creating psychological chaos due to constant internal pressure.
• The Ego:
• Represents the rational part of the psyche, mediating between the id and the superego.
• The ego operates according to the reality principle, seeking to satisfy desires in socially acceptable ways.
• Chaos arises when the pressures from the id or the superego overwhelm the ego, leading to internal conflicts and psychological disturbances.
Sigmund Freud addressed the concept of chaos as an integral part of human nature and its relationship with instincts and internal conflicts. Here is a detailed explanation of his views on chaos:
- Chaos in the Structure of the Human Psyche
Freud divided the psyche into three main components, with conflicts among them being the source of internal chaos:
• The Id:
• Represents the instinctual part of the psyche, storing basic desires like hunger, sexuality, and aggression.
• The id operates according to the pleasure principle, seeking immediate gratification of desires without regard for rules or consequences.
5 Ws who, what, when, where, why¶
how is what you will start defining in your process pages
What :¶
I will make my collection with using digital fabrication techniques I learned it from textile academy
how :¶
use my skills in fashion and add technology ( laser cut machine, 3d prints, soft robotics, crystallization, dyeing )
Why :¶
From the start of my journey in fashion design, my goal has been to create a meaningful fashion movement. This vision became more refined when I joined the Textile Academy, where I gained insights into how to realize my ambition.
My approach to building this movement focuses on balancing advanced technology with sustainability and integrating them into ready-to-wear garments. The aim is to create iconic and unique pieces that are not only innovative and practical but also eco-conscious, ensuring minimal environmental impact. These designs represent the future of fashion: modern, wearable, and responsible.

Conclusion and Future Vision¶
This project is a contemplative journey into chaos as a tool for self-understanding and creative stimulation. In the next stages, I will transform this theoretical concept into tangible models integrating smart materials and interactive techniques to embody chaos visually and sensorially.

References from Contemporary Artists and Designers¶
-
John Galliano – Known for his highly dramatic style, he uses visual chaos and contrasts between luxury and decay to express psychological depth and multiple identities. His designs reveal layers of tension and visual disturbance as if born from a dream or trauma.
-
Martin Margiela – Famous for deconstructing and reconstructing garments to expose their hidden structures. His works reflect organized chaos that challenges classical norms and invites interpretation, as if every piece asks, "Who am I really?"
-
Alexander McQueen – Drew inspiration from death, history, and fragmented identity, often blending horror and beauty in his creations. He used elements of chaos to express internal struggle and aesthetic rebellion, making each fashion show a visual poem of sensitive violence.
