Research & Ideation

My inspiration comes from nature, innovation in design, and the combination of the two because we should not be separate from nature but work in conjunction with it and live in harmony. That is why FAB Lab caught my eye: to innovate and create something that can benefit us and the planet, from creating natural products to recycling and developing new ideas in tech to help people with medical conditions.

References & Inspiration

There are a couple projects that I think are very intresting with catus lether created by Adrián López Velarde from Mexico. As well as other projects like using old textiles and created inslated bricks Fabbric compny that now is outputing into a larger prdouction scale. This sort of inovation is what excites me alsong with wearble technology and what can be made to improve our daily lives.

Documentation workflow

This was a bit of a challage for me to get back into coding but with alot of truble shooting and going back and working on this I can say these tips are usefull.I would say if you havent codded before or even if you have stick to just editing in this screen to save youa bit of trouble.

Later on I came to learn that its ok that viedos dont show in the preview they will show up on the website after comminting the changes and double check that its uploads.

tips

  1. Look at past projects from other students and copy asspects or codes that you like
  2. Update it was you go along and have folder with work by week to help you sort better
  3. make sure you dont brake the conection some how with the mkdocs,gitlab file
  4. refer back to links and viedos form the lecture
    5. the .. infront of the image might be why its not woking or if you go and put it into

Step 1 Plan and Orgnise Content

Ideate what porject you want to show case and also write down disptio in word doc and bring it back in one your done wrting out what you want to put in there.Also gather the pictures and put them in a sorted folder to be able to fin them more easly. Gather all of the viedos and othe asspects that you might also need and want to put into the website.

Step 2 Play with look

Start to play around with the look and style of the back ground, font, headers, logos and images withere its a singel image or if you would like to set it in a gird or in another form. As well as start to gether

Changing the FONT right were it says TEXT just look up the google font what type you want to use and change it there and can spefiy the type of font that you want.

Step 3 Trouble shoot

Lots of trouble shooting and going back to stage one and look at the first step and resources as well as the refencesss from other studetns and give youre self grace and try agin.
