Portfolio¶
Tress tone is an alternative biomaterial that aims to close the loop with hair waste and create a solution for sound isolation and sound isolation insulation. To keep the quality of the sound and keep plastic out of our daily routines. At the same time, it proposes an alternative fiber that naturally occurs. Expanding what we consider to be a material and to take an innovative approach as to what we can make and create for materials them selfs to have less of a harmful effect on the planet.
Worked with local salons to collect the hair and one other person that was also working with hair here in Barcelona named Itzel Sanclemente. Was of big help she also helped me by leting me have acess to her hair felting machien that works in association with Matteroftrust that help otheres to also have acess to the machiens with the intent to have these hair mats for oil spills.
