Deliverables¶
Detailed planning of the 2-month project development phase:
The development of my project took place over approximately two months. Instead of using rigid planning tools like Excel or Trello, I organized my days in blocks depending on what needed to be solved at each stage: starting with the electronics, then moving on to the design of the object, and finally the fabrication.
At first, I focused on building the circuit to understand how much physical space it would take and how to integrate it with the textile part. That step was key to defining the overall design. Once that was resolved, I moved on to modeling and testing materials. During the last few weeks, I worked almost full-time in the labs, which allowed me to make fast progress with testing, adjustments, and final integration. Having continuous access to tools and machines was essential to completing all the electronics, structure, and documentation on time.
Week Main activity Specific goals 1 Research + planning Define concept, initial material and tech testing 2–3 Design and prototyping Digital modeling, circuit tests, silicone molds 4–5 Fabrication and assembly Lab work: textiles, structure, form 6 Electronics integration Connect sensors, motor, and test interaction 7 Refinement + documentation Final adjustments, photos, videos, GitLab updates 8 Final presentation Setup, rehearsal, and project delivery
