ABOUT ME¶

My name is Zander Webster. I am a multi disciplinary artist based in Montreal, Canada. I am very interested in clothings relation to our identity and its power to influence and subvert.

BACKGROUND¶

Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I studied fashion design in a independant capacity at university. Since then I have been based in Montreal for the past 5 years working on clothing design and devolping my clothing brand: LOST_GOOD_Z

PREVIOUS WORK¶

I have always loved clothing and its power to transform our identities. I got started in the fashion industry by transforming and "upcycling" vintage and deadstock garments. I would hand paint a "pattern" or a "texture" that makes the garment one of a kind and with a thicker skin.

Having an interest in the practices and processes that go into making clothes, i am always curious and eager to find new ways to create clothes using new methods and technologies.

My clothing brand LOST_GOOD_Z has been sold online and within stores in Vancouver, Montreal, and Halifax.
