TIMELINE

MATERIALS

I am using many recycled materials and free to use softwares aiming to have a low cost to produce.

I will be using as many tools and resources that are available to me at the FabLab including:

  • Laser cutter
  • 3d printers
  • Digital embroidery machine
  • Bio-lab
  • clo3d free trials
  • singer heavy duty home sewing machine

The materials for this project were realtively simple/cheap. I did have to buy a few different types of snap fasteners and their tools but that was an error on my part. some of the hardware ended up being more than i thought but that is because of the cost of the tools and not something would be recurring.

STORYBOARD

There really isnt any storyboarding for my video as the plan was more to do with the stylistic and technical parts of planning this video. It was mostly a loose plan to do a 3 frame in one video concept, where I could have 3 vertical videos playing in a regular size landscape video. I knew that i wanted to showcase the clo3d avatar and mirror it in the real world throgh similar enviroment and movement. It also needed to show all the different modular possibilites so I wanted to incorporate that in some way. Finally to use videos of the bio-material coating process I could use as filler and as a way to move the attention from one area of the video to another.

youtube videos. especially for clo3d. The ones below were the best i found and watched many times.
