Berrak Zeynep Okyar is a Milan-based fashion designer. She focuses on biomaterials, innovative and experimental textiles, developing an interdisciplinary approach by merging technology with design. Her biggest motivations include contributing to creative processes, collaborating with inspiring teams, and taking part in experimental projects.

MOTIVATION¶
I am someone who enjoys research and thrives in experimental processes. I am not afraid to dive deep into complexity; in fact, I see getting lost in knowledge as an advantage, as it allows me to discover hidden connections and unexpected solutions.
I want to reinterpret my background in fashion through this perspective. For me, design is not limited to aesthetics but also shaped by the possibilities of new materials. My experimental mindset encourages me to merge fashion knowledge with sustainability, technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Fashion, to me, is not just clothing but a living language that can be rewritten through new materials, methods, and ways of thinking. Through this program, I aim to combine my passion for exploration and experimentation with my fashion background to develop a design language that is both innovative and forward-looking.
