Ideation & sketches

For this collection, I intend to design three dresses, each with a different concept. - The first will be based on an old dress. - The second will feature symbols inspired by the nature of Palestine. - And the third will address the current situation and what is happening in Palestine right now.

Design & Fabrication

By the end of January, the designs and patterns will be ready for printing based on the design of each dress.

Prototypes

I started experimenting with ways to prepare embroidery patterns for printing after watching a number of videos on YouTube.

FIRST EXPERIMENT

I started to experiment 3d printed tatreez, using a mix between Inkskape to convert the photos of handmade tatreez to digitalized one ( I started with one cypress only).

then I moved to rhino and grasshopper where I prerpare the cross shape and the grid and the final 3d model.

I used the Prusa XL for this experiment
