PROJECT INSIPIRATION : LIGHT IS THE SOURCE OF EVERY THINGS
WHO I AM¶
I am a researcher and innovator from Rwanda, inspired by the country's rich culture, creativity, and resilience. As the only son among six sisters, I developed a strong appreciation for fashion by observing their expressions of elegance and identity through clothing. This experience fueled my passion for integrating design, technology, and sustainability. Currently, I am working on developing a 3D printer utilizing LITHOGRAPHY, inspired by the concept that light is a fundamental source of all creation. Through Fabricademy, I aim to channel this inspiration into impactful innovations that showcase Rwanda’s beauty and empower local creators throughout Africa.

INSPIRATION AND PREVIOUS WORK¶

My involvement with Fabricademy is motivated by a strong belief that the future of design, manufacturing, and sustainability depends on integrating digital fabrication, material innovation, and human creativity. I view this program not only as an educational opportunity but also as a platform to develop advanced technologies capable of transforming industries in Africa and beyond.
My primary inspiration is to establish a localized 3D printing ecosystem utilizing ritography (resin-based lithography) to produce high-precision components for sectors such as fashion, biomedical, and product design. Unlike traditional 3D printing methods, ritography offers micron-level accuracy, the potential use of bio-based or recycled resins, and supports decentralized manufacturing—creating a sustainable and industry-supportive model tailored to the region.
