ABOUT¶
My name is Laura Muth (born 1992), I’m a product & color designer based in Hanover, Germany. My work explores the intersection of material, design, & experience — combining conceptual thinking with hands-on experimentation. I’m passionate about multisensory design, sustainable materials, & collaborative learning environments.
EDUCATION¶
Master of Arts – Design Management, Integrative Design & Applied Design Research HAWK University of Applied Sciences & Arts, Hildesheim, Germany As the core of my master’s studies, I conceived & developed MUSE LAB — a space for practical, multisensory material & design experiences. The project focused on exploration, strategy, & concept development, culminating in the creation of an open pop-up Material LAB that encouraged hands-on experimentation & collaborative learning.
PREVIOUS WORK¶
Alongside my studies, I have been working as a freelance designer and artist, engaging in projects that bridge design research, material innovation, and artistic expression. I’m also part of the HAWK Material Archive, contributing to knowledge exchange, curation, and creative project development. MATERIAL LIBRARY My experience spans concept creation, material storytelling, and participatory design formats that connect people through shared creative processes.
