SHOOTING

1. Shooting Concept: Luxury – Golden Wet Look

The visual direction of this shoot explores a form of (wet) luxury, defined through the interaction of light, water, & materiality.

The intention was to create a sensory, almost tactile aesthetic, where: wet surfaces, reflections, & light refractions become central visual elements soft contours & fluid transitions shape the overall image language The result is a quiet, elevated form of luxury—not loud or excessive, but subtle, intimate, & atmospheric.

The imagery—such as the model with wet hair, natural skin texture, & a soft, calm gaze placed directly at the water’s edge—creates a feeling of intimate stillness & quiet confidence. i want to create tension between: natural beauty (skin, water, presence) & designed, almost futuristic materiality The overall aesthetic feels: → sensual, minimal, & elevated—yet slightly surreal

2. Inspiration: Champagner Breeze

The concept is inspired by my trend scouting panel “Champagner Breeze” (2022/23) . This trend world represents a soft, luminous reinterpretation of the yellow color phase, characterized by: - golden, honey-like tones - nude & rosé shades - muted beige-grey nuances In the image, this translates into: - warm skin tones enhanced by light moisture - subtle gloss & reflective highlights - a palette that feels harmonious, calm, & sunlit The emotional layer reflects the core of the trend: → lightness, mindfulness, & a focus on the present moment

3. Playlist – Mood & Atmosphere

To capture the slow, fluid and intimate energy of the shoot:

    - Simply Red - Sunrise
    - Chet Faker - Gold
    - Billie Eilish - CHIHIRO
    - Edit - You Showed Me
    - Helado Negro - This is how we smile
    - Frank Ocean – “Pink + White”
    - Sade – “No Ordinary Love”
    - The xx – “Intro”

These tracks enhance the feeling of: → warmth, softness, introspection, & quiet luxury

4. Location

The shoot was planned at the outdoor area of the Museo Internacional del Barroco in Puebla, Mexico. The location was chosen for its futuristic, sculptural architecture combined with water elements, which perfectly supports the concept.

The calm water surface enhances: - light reflections & movement - depth & stillness within the image

The architecture acts as a precise, constructed counterbalance to the organic qualities of water, skin, & fluid textures—reinforcing the intended contrast between nature & design.

Originally, the concept also included shooting inside the museum, but unfortunately, permission for the interior location has not yet been granted. Therefore, the current execution focuses on the exterior space.

5. Timing – Light Concept

The shoot was captured during the golden hour, at the end of March in Puebla, Mexico, around 05:30 AM. This specific timing provides: - warm, golden tones - soft shadows & gentle highlights - smooth, natural transitions across skin & materials The light enhances the sense of glow, fluidity, & refined luxury, acting as a natural filter that unifies all visual elements.

Overall Essence

A visual translation of “Champagner Breeze”: a calm, intimate moment where liquid textures, human presence, and sculptural design merge into a soft yet futuristic expression of luxury.
