About me¶
My name is Usanase Wivine. I’m a creative designer passionate about crafts, innovation, and interior decor. I’m a member at Fab Lab Rwanda, where I work with digital tools such as design software, laser, and CNC machines to create unique handmade pieces. I also own Taka Design, a brand that focuses on turning creative ideas into beautiful and functional designs. I also run the Fabwomen program, empowering other women to explore their creativity, learn digital fabrication, and create their own designs.
My background¶
I was born in Gisenyi, a beautiful and relaxing town in Rwanda known for its calm vibes and lovely beaches. I graduated from Kigali Independent University, and my passion for creating led me to join Fab Lab programs. That’s where my journey began as a professional creator, exploring digital fabrication, crafts, and design — turning my love for making into a career.
