I am particularly interested in how these shapes suggest controlled deformation—where the surface appears carved, pressed, or revealed rather than assembled. This directly relates to my intention to use CNC-milled molds to shape leather into three-dimensional forms.

These references help me:

identify depth ranges suitable for molding

study soft vs sharp transitions

understand how continuous surfaces break into modules

The next step is to abstract these forms into simplified geometric logic, which I will reinterpret parametrically in SolidWorks and translate into mold designs for leather forming tests.
