STATE OF ART

FOCUS ON

  • Create a path to integrate technology, materials, traditional handcraft knowledge, art and awareness
  • Communication through colors and shapes
  • Be part of the positive change
  • Be surprised enjoying new skills
  • Reduce options and define a personal project

PROJECT

There are three projects I have in mind since some time a go, one of them, or a part of it, can be developed as my final project.

MASKS

(searching for a name with hook)

If someone’s wearing a mask, he’s gonna tell you the truth,

if he’s not wearing a mask, it’s highly unlikely.

INTENTION

Disolve the borders between artwork and the viewer. Create a sensory experience in which we can submerge. Perhaps also some exercise in which the subject can experience their own creativity playing with materials. In the main time we explore the communicative power of shapes and colors.

DIARY

HIGHLIGHT LEARNINGS

  • There are an extended philosophy behind FabLabs, I haven’t known it before my first day. I felt hopeful to discover how much people is searching for a solutions about our climate change problem
  • Markdown basic sintax. I find it quite fun!
    • # STEPS TO MAKE MY WEB
      • After have seen Fiore's tutorial I search a Markdown dictionary, it was really helpful to understand how programming works. [Markdown Guide](https://www.markdownguide.org/)
      • I use Photoshop to edit the pictures I would post and change their size and resolution ![photoshop](https://gitlab.fabcloud.org/academany/fabricademy/2020/students/agnes.costaolive/raw/master/docs/IMAGES/photoshop.jpg)
      • To make more personal the apparence of my site, I edited mkdocs folder.
        • Font. I searched on [Google fonts](https://fonts.google.com) a font. On mkdocs panel I writed the name of the *font* next to *text* and *code* on font sub menu.
        • Colour. To change the color on the top of the web I search [here](https://squidfunk.github.io/mkdocs-material/getting-started/#configuration) a colour and I writed on *palette* sub menu, next to *accent* and *primary*, the name of the colour
        • Icon. To change the icon next to my name on the top of the page, I searched on [this website](https://material.io/resources/icons/?icon=graphic_eq&style=baseline) one. Next to *icon* in the *logo* sub menu I writed the name of the logo.
        • I tried to change the logo on the tap, behind the name of the website. To do it, I download the logo from the same page I useed with the other one. I converted fram svg format to ico format, witch is the one markdown use, using a converted page I find on Google. I upload the image on *images* folder and I copy the image address. I pasted it behind *favicon* option on mkdocs editing page. I still don't know where the error is and whay doesn't appears on the tap.
        • The mkdocs editing page looks like this, ![apparence](https://gitlab.fabcloud.org/academany/fabricademy/2020/students/agnes.costaolive/raw/master/docs/IMAGES/linkssocialmedia.jpg)
          • I linked my social media to the icons at the end of the page. ![socialmedia](https://gitlab.fabcloud.org/academany/fabricademy/2020/students/agnes.costaolive/raw/master/docs/IMAGES/week1social.jpg)
