11. Implications and applications¶
This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to plan the timeline process.

11.1. Project Title "Smart Seat Management System"¶
Transformation of fixed chair to smart chair, using IoT device and smart program for correctly updating and securing assigned seats in public events to redefine the seat management experience for event organizer and guests by providing one solution.
For that all organizers involve mass number of manpower works in part time band which flow more expenses form event budget and include the high percentage of risks regarding cross over security wall regarding event security data.
The events industry now comprises events of all sizes from the Sports down to business meetings. Several industries, organizations, and interest groups hold events in order to market themselves, build business relationships, raise money, or celebrate achievement.
Events can be hounded by cost overruns, poor scheduling and customer dissatisfaction due to a range of factors related to planning, communication and resource allocation. Here are the five most common event planning problems, and ways Smart Event Management System can avoid them and organize events simpler, productive, cost effective and functional.

Smart Seat Management System will be able to give solution of the following problems easily which arise in daily life.
Problem - 1 - Seat security and seat location¶
Seats can be occupied by unassigned guest which results annoying discussions.
Solution¶
Guests and event organizer can track the seat location using the smartphone mobile application. Event organizer gets notified if a guest sits without scanning the barcode.
Problem - 2 - Change in guest seating arrangement¶
Solution¶
Seating chart enhances change in seats by dragging and dropping guest from guest list and it updates real time. Thus, any vacant seats at the front rows can be assigned to back rows seated guests and improvise their visual experience. All changes will be logged in the database with explanation of the specific change and can be used to determine how such change will impact the budget, timeline andcommunicate it to all other stakeholders involved.
Problem - 3 - Assigning right resources, with the right talents¶
Solution¶
Event organizers can manage events with full visibility into the skills and workloads of all their resources, including volunteers, security men and outsourcers, who often get left out of skills assessments even though they're doing a "huge" proportion of work.
Problem - 4 - Simple process mistakes by not following standard, repeatable event management processes.¶
Solution¶
A well-defined and agreed upon event dashboard and output reports containing analytics data helps planners tackle every task efficiently and raises the appropriate level of awareness of all the activities involved in the execution of another event. Having baseline of repeatable processes for scoping, scheduling, allocating resources and communicating with stakeholders removes a lot of the guesswork associated with events.
