[INTERFERENCE]

INTERFERENCE is a couture project that explores the intersection of biofabrication, computational design and nature-inspired design. Crafted from a gelatin-based bioplastic, the garment presents initially as a simple, monochrome, translucent piece. However, under cross-polarized filters, vibrant colors emerge, echoing the intriguing hidden visual language of cuttlefish. Inspired by these creatures' subtle interactions using polarized light, the garment offers a quiet yet captivating mode of expression. It pays tribute to the wonders of nature and the creative potential of integrating biology into innovative design.
