1. State of the art, project management and documentation

Fabricademy first week has started. Participating this educational program as one of a work of my company, I have to use my company PC with restriction of application to be installed. This was an additional hurdle for me since Fabricademy basically uses free software as its principle. Checking some necessary free software for Fabricademy, I found it takes one or two weeks for my company to give the allowance of installation to each free software and it would end up too late for me to catch up wit Fabricademy lectures. Then I decided to divide my Fabricademy challenge into two parts; one as the "process learning part", and one as "my company work related development part". For the process learning part, I purchased a new windows note PC and have started preparation for Fabricademy.

Research & Ideation

As I wrote in my introduction, my motivation of joining Fabricademy is to develop locally manufacturable Kinetic Seat with functional fabric technology. I was impressed by Stephanie Johnson and Cristina Dezi as the functional fabric designing point of view, and very much inspired by Kae Nagano and Rico Kanthatham as the perspective of narrative.

The lecture Visual documentation presentation was giving me relevant style of picture sharing format. I would like to get used to this style quickly and affect into my daily company work as well.
