hi, friends!¶
thanks for stopping by. my name is parker hayward. i was born in san diego, california, usa.
i love to be outside, amongst nature. i’ve grown up surfing, hiking, and playing in the outdoors. my love for sunshine & time with friends and family in vibrant and inspiring places inspires my outlook on life and stoke for design.
i studied biomechanical engineering at harvard college, graduating in the may of 2019. wanderings along my studies illuminated my interest in designing a healthier, more inclusive and connected world.
after my undergraduate studies, i built out a 1987 van to explore around. it has been two years of much learning & adventuring. my experience on the road has magnified all the more my deep enthusiasm for biodesign & sustainable urban design.
i am very excited to spend these next months soaking up more knowledge in the fields of design, engineering, ecology, art, and biology, while exploring and playing at the intersection of these fields.
