Research & Ideation¶
In connection the content of the program and the projects that are posted on Social Media, I have seen that many projects are vanguard works that have been awarded, and most of them are focused in interdisciplinary subjects exploring new technologies, new materials and/or new manufacturing processes.
I am eager to explore these opportunities, I find the course very attractive and inspiring, and I am willing to produce a very successful final project. My subjects of interests are sustainability, e-textiles, biomaterials and wearables.

References & Inspiration¶
I do not have any particular idea or artist that I follow. However I found FASCINATING how technology is every time more involved in the textiles and wearables in daily garments such as intelligent Gasses (Rayban) or Smart Watches like iWatch. I believe that this is the future and this is the reason why I got involved in the Fabricademy Program.
Also, I saw this Jacket developed by google and levis, that allows you to control some functions from your phone by touching the sleeves of the garment.
I also found other wearables that are now commercially available used for tracking the position of pets and some of them can measure the hearth to monitor the pet’s health. These devices are located in the collar of the pet.
Finally, additional to the technological advance, I want to focus my research in sustainability. As of the moment we are facing many problems related to pollution, and I would like to contribute to the evolution of technology without harming the envionment. Below there is a video from the activist MAN, showing the impact of the humang being in nature as a consequence of its unsustainable behaviour.
