A Life that Follows

A Life That Follows transforms discarded fish skin into durable, biodegradable material for fashion and interiors. Rooted in Indigenous zero-waste philosophies, where animals are partners, not resources - her practice reframes innovation as a return to ancestral knowledge. Waste skins gathered weekly from a local fishmonger are tanned using natural methods, shifting between bags and lampshades, fashion and interior, always constant in value. Each piece is designed with an ending: to one day return to the sea, decompose, and nourish. The loop, closed.
