BEYOND THINKING¶
I am Tasneem Al Sariera, an Architect and Entrepreneur. I am known for being optimistic, a problem solver and someone who loves taking on adventures and trying new experiences. Outside of work I explore the world through traveling, photography and trying unique global foods
Education¶
I graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2014. In addition, I have completed several international and local workshops:
-
2015: ‘Let’s Build Entrepreneurship Skills’ in Bansko, Bulgaria.
-
2017: ‘How to Be an Active Citizen’ in Birmingham, UK.
-
2019: Footwear Design and Manufacturing Techniques in Düsseldorf, Germany.
-
2025: Project Management Practice at the Engineers Training Center in Jordan.
Works¶
I began my career in 2014 as a Junior Architect at Bitar Consultants where I focused on USAID school design projects until 2018. It was project with direct contact with local society and conducting site visits all around Jordan. Then I joined Podium Architects, working there until 2025 across various architectural and interior design projects, including residential villas, hospitals and manufacturing facilities. Throughout my career I have developed a catchy eye for details, specializing in planning and taking designs from initial concepts to execution.

Alongside my full-time architectural career I founded my own brand -Moccasin.Heel- which focuses on crafting comfortable high heels while empowering skilled artisans and creating job opportunities. The idea was born on my graduation day in 2014 when I lost one of my favorite shoes and decided to recreate it. Over the years I built and expanded my workshop and leading to annual growth from 2021.

Recently I hired full-time employees to manage operations. I am now focusing on my personal growth and acquiring new skills. I believe every professional reaches a point where learning something new is essential to continuous progress and personal development.

A dream Worth Pursuing¶
Joining Fabricademy has always been one of my biggest dreams
I first applied for the scholarship in 2024. I was not selected probably because I was working a full-time job . In 2026 I tried again after I built a system in my workshop and hired a team to run it without my constant presence. Still I was not accepted.
A few weeks after the program started I didn’t want to let go of my dream. I reached out to the program directly. Told them how much I wanted to join . They responded with kindness and approval. They allowed me to join and complete the program over two years.
Motivation¶
I am eager to discover opportunities and to learn new skills. I see that the future is shifting toward sustainability, artificial intelligence and bio-fabrication. I want to build a business model that brings these areas together. I plan to combine my experience in architecture, footwear design and entrepreneurship to create something meaningful.
