## TITLE | A WEARABLE CANVAS

Concept

An art istallation that is transformed into a wearable garment. The muse paints with natural dyes and biomaterials then takes the piece of canvas and wears it. I want to show the proccess of making the pigments and creating the marbling technique I followed in my artwork pieces, then applying biomaterials adding texture and combining difefferent techniques, mixed media. Showing the beauty of a handmade technique, connecting people with nature and music.

who

creating a community and gallery spaces as much as individuals exploring local and natural sources. Artists and Performers or even festival lovers, connect people with Art, Nature and Music. I am the creator but could also attract the audience to paint expressing different feelings

what

An art installation with different techniques that is transformed into a wearable poncho. It could also be multifuntional.

when,where

Location in an outdoor Gallery a space connected with nature and the future moving music during Spring/Summertime

why

Rethink the way we see art and use of paints to create it. Although industries try to make paints more eco-friendly they are still toxic. An artpiece can become alive by giving a different proposal in the way we observe it.

I was fascinated with the Acrylic pouring and marbling technique so I want to remake it with new materials and dyes which are connected to nature.

References projects, research papers, expos, performances etc

Acrylic Pouring Technique: When acrylic become luquid with a pouring medium as a binder and silicone oil to create bubble. A very creative technique but not the best option in terms of being environmentally friendly.

Here are some references I followed for the art of marbling on textiles.

Other refernces using biomaterials and different techniques

Moodboard

I created moodboards according to the different techniques I want to explore

  1. marbling with natural dyes on silk and combine it with biomaterials. Marble fold

  2. biomaterials(gelatine, clay) and apply the marbling technique

  3. wool felting(easy to dye)
