Mood Board

• Textures inspired from the intricate patterns of coral reefs, placed in abstract forms, to create modern wearable art. Coralle is a merge of traditional fabrication techniques with New technologies, with sustainable approaches like using bio-based raw materials and making a bio-degradable couture.

Capturing Inspirations

• For creating something which is nature inspired, for me, it is very important to visualise it myself rather than creating something on basis of internet pictures. So I decided to visit the Barcelona Aquarium and click pictures myself.

BioMimicry

• A journey from Nature to paper to fashion.

• As I was not able to clearly take pictures in the aquarium, I Downloaded some pictures from Adobe Stock, where you can download copyright free images.

• Extracting patterns from nature on ipad using a software called Procreate.

• Time lapse of making patterns for moulds.

• Time lapse of designing the collection.

• Here is a slide show of my Texture explorations which shows the brainstorming part.

• Planning of next steps, and weekly time table. We used an online platform called Miro for planning our journey of final projects.
