9. Textile as scaffold

There are two techniques I would like to focus on this week. 1. Leather moulding 2. using fabric as form work.

Leather Moulding

I had seen the examples presented in this weeks global lecture previously. I have always been intrigued by them and I am excited to be able to have a go this week.

I am going to use a geometry that was created by my colleague and friend Barbara Zandavali. She created this geometry to experiment with different process that interface between digital and analogue, so she was more than happy to let me use her design.
