Gravité is an Experimental & Artistic concept merging New_Tech & "Savoir-Faire". Material experimentations & technical fab for creating Unexpected Leathercrafts. Co-creation Lucia Javicoli x Sage Folie.

Technical Handswork Here are some technical aspects of the making.

  • Patronnage: Making of the different pieces of the object
  • Edge finish: Made with dyeing thanks to a hot tool. The goal is to obtain an aesthetic line of finishing.
  • Double thread: Aims to make lines for the stitch
  • Sellier stitch: Is the tranditional hand's stitch for asembling pieces.

V_BAG For the 1st product developpement, we decided to design a Bucket bag, due to:

  • Simple design
  • Aesthetic
  • Fonctionality
  • Symbolic

The bottom of the bag and a piece of the shoulder strap are made of Bio-composite leather leftovers inserted into leather frame.

The Black_Box design process is the result of:

  • Digital fabrication of the mold
  • CNC milling of the mold
  • Leather modeling
