NEXT STEP: AI/1st Sample

I drew my pattern in Illustrator and I did the first sample with a small Lazer cut that we have at the lab. Have a look on my little monster.

  • The machine is 200x200mm
  • Watchout: unique line for lazer cutting
  • IMPORT in dxf

Fabrics:

  • Scuba: Black Neopren/Synthetical caoutchouc, 1mm Why? For resistance, polymerisation nice finish, graphic

  • Tulle: White/ Synthetical PES Why? For transparency, colors, optical effect, 0,5mm

The different materials need to be described in the Lazer cutting for not burning.

REWORK FULL PATTERN FOR ZEROWASTE

In order to optimize the pattern, the fabric, I DECIDED:

  • FEMALE: I want two colors of tulles in order to play with the optical effect.The pattern optimize the surface: square :)

  • MALE: Due to the arms I have Arrows in between. SO I decided to make a hole in order to use it for attaching pieces.
