My background

I was born in a city called Fontana in California. When I was 5 years old I moved to Mexico for my parents new job. I come from an entrepreneur family that founded in 1990 a sports brand called PIRMA,the brand has grown a lot since then and has provided sports products at affordable prices. I am aware that I could take advantage of the family business and gain experience, but I am eager to learn and want to resume my goals and start a professional career un the fashion and textile industry.

Previous work

Throughout my training, I had the opportunity to further study fiber and fabric processes and their finishes. I haver good knowledge of loom weaving, digital printing, screen printing, hand embroidery, and machine embroidery techniques. I am good at creating prints and patterns and with that, a great eye for color.

Project A

This is an image of a project called Blooming Islamic, it was based on florals and paisleys inspired by Islamic culture. Blooming Islamic is a collection that consists of vibrant and vivid digital patterns of feminine but bold flowers, work of pleats, hand and machine embroidery, all combined together. I created my own sequins, and embellishments of light and medium weight fabrics including leather and several materials were upcycled.
