My Exciting journey¶

Hello! My name is Maki Tanaka. I'm excited to take Fabricademy to open and experience new "world" for 6 months.

My background¶

I was born and raised in Japan. As I lived various places around Japan because of my father's job transfer, I could experience several local cultures and make my character.

I took Fab Academy in 2025. I didn't know much about electricity and had no idea making my PCB, but it was really great experience and learning for me.

Why Fabricademy?¶

Through the experience of Fab academy, I'd like to learn more, especially something related to the nature. I live in Japan where it has a lot of great nature. Unfortunately, the natural environment around us is gradually decreasing. I've also heard that some of tree and bamboo forests are left wild, because we have lack of people who manage properly.

So I'd like to do something for help of keeping our nature and live with it and research the relation between Japanese culture and nature.

Hobby¶

My hobby is drawing-calligraphy and doing sport. It seems there are completely different things but I found both of them give me energy and joy!
