Ari - come and be brave!

Flow

Hi! Barev! Welcome to my Fabricademy journey.

I am Luiza Naslyan, an ARTivist and a life long learner.

As for ARTivism, I use my voice through artworks, installations and crafts to raise awareness about things that matter: conscious living and sustainability over consumption, human rights, specifically children and women's rights. In my Fabricademy journey, week by week my values and views as a human and an artisit will unfold.

I keep studing cultures, my self through inner growth, and our ties with nature and each other.

Change

Change can be scary, but once we allow our heart to guide us, our mind will help us figure it all out.

My professional path started as a linguist, then took a turn to an artist, art educator, carpet weaver, Armenian folk dancer and now an "Alchemist and a designer" in Fabricademy.

My linguistic and artistic backgrounds merged in an artist laboratory at ACCEA / NPAK, where I explored Armenian dilects, their influence on identity through a set of interviews and creating artworks at the end of the lab.

I raised the question about human influence on the environment at the 2nd oil painting bienalle at DaFen museum China in the scope of "Home and Co-existence".

Ecological questions and human conscious living were the focal point for a month during my immersive exhibition in Dilijan local lore museum and via sets of workshop explore ways of upcycling, reducing the usage of plastic and the bio alternatives for chemical hygene products with the local community.

As an installation artist I presented my works at installation festivals. With my "C-section" / "ԿեսԱՐՅԱՆ" work I raised questions about healthcare sector failures, and with my "Give your pain to the cloud" I talked about the importance of self awareness.

As a result of my studies both Armenian and other cultures with a mission to bring people to a face to face interaction, I re-imagined ancient games.

About me becoming an "alchemist and a 3D designer, check out my weekly assignments next. To know more of my art creations check out my LinkedIn and Instagram .

Be brave!

I started Fabricademy journey due to the Fab Lab Armenia in Dilijan! The warmth of the Fablabians, specifically lovely Anoush Arshakyan, gave me the feeling - I can come back here again, I feel comfortable.

The sunny and bright Fab Lab Armenia office is a dream workspace, and the technologies I have seen and tried for the first time in my life, made me BELIEVE I can realize my dreams faster and better.

Being a new mom, with a newly chosen path Fabricademy, I told myself to be Brave and go ahead with the call of my heart: coding and design programs can be mine too!
