Project "Between Past and Future"

The idea for the final project came hard.

I wanted to do something special. Something that can be used not only by me but by many people who think like me. I wanted to do something sustainable, which will not harm the earth. I wanted to change the world...

But the idea comes when she wants, by chance.

The idea of the final project came from the message found on the dressx page.

5 Ws

what

This message made me think about the future of fashion in the Republic of Moldova. What can I do? What will fashion be like in 5 years in my country? How can we preserve and integrate the country's cultural heritage into fashion for years? How can we develop without having a negative impact on the country's environment?

why

During the first term at FABRICADEMY, I always thought about how we can adapt and implement what we studied in my country. The Republic of Moldova is a small country with big-hearted people. If we try to analyze the development of the Republic of Moldova, we notice that it was a very complicated one. We were constantly subjected to external actions. But over the years, the country has tried to develop, without losing its authenticity.

Like the whole world, the problem of environmental pollution is also presented in the Republic of Moldova. And of course fashion has its part to blame in this problem. The physical creation of clothes has a negative effect on the environment. If we do not reduce the number of clothes and change the manufacturing process, they will continue to pollute the soil, water and air.

how

From this moment I understood what I had to do and how to realize my idea. I have to create something, necessary for the country and the field of fashion, which allows the cultural heritage of the country to be preserved and is friendly to the environment.

I will try to implement virtual fashion by creating a digital library.

The advantages of using a digital fashion are multiple:

who

I think of my final project as something made directly for those who want a better future for the Republic of Moldova. I will try to create a digital library with a wide spectrum of patterns, schemes and ornaments.

Here, I will try to create an open platform and promote together with traditional fashion and digital fashion.

Of course I will be ready to collaborate with those who can influence positive change in the fashion design process: the wearer, the 2D and 3D designer, anyone who can bring about a change towards sustainability.

when

According to the steps presented in the eleventh week, the Gantt chart was developed.

where

In the Republic of Moldova, more precisely in Chisinau, where I live and where my node is.

References projects, research papers, expos, performances etc

In support of the project idea, I was inspired by some of the Fabricademy participants from the past years.
