1. State of the art, project management and documentation

This first week I have learned enough about myself, since one of the things that costs the most is to document all the steps that I do since I am not a big fan of the exhibition, but I have learned that "IF IT IS NOT DOCUMENTED, IT DOES NOT EXIST "and that is quite important right now and especially in the world of OPEN SOURCE.

I am quite excited and wanting to know what awaits me these weeks, since this way that Fabricademy has of teaching such different things every week and that it has a fairly accelerated pace and I love that since my mind goes a bit like that, from The things I want to learn the most is about e-textiles week, Textile as scaffold week and skin electronics

The Node

I am a very lucky person to be able to take fabricademy in such a beautiful and highly technological building as the BasqueBiodesignCenter, we are the first course taught in this building and it is a great privilege to be able to use all the machines and all the laboratories for the first time.

The images are from the website of the architecture and engineering office Ingelan that shaped the BasqueBiodesignCenter

We are divided into several labs, but the textileab is my favorite and I suspect that we will spend a lot of time in it. We are also learning the rest schedules, the places where we should work and how we should do it. At the moment we can only use the machines with supervision, but little by little we are having more autonomy since Betiana will have a check list where we will see the things we need to learn to know how to use the machines safely for ourselves and towards the machines.

Inspirations

One of the greatest sources of inspiration is the work of Ernst Haeckel He inspires me since I saw myself reflected in the moment we find ourselves and how we are influencing the evolution of materials and products.

We are creating new ways to use our resources and to improve existing resources to create a more respectful world and to be able to influence efficiently and in this change for the good that we all want.

One of the most useful sites for me is PINTEREST since it teaches me design elements in a very visual way

For me, TRENDUNTER is a very useful tool since they not only teach you the design trends and news in technology but also show you the statistics and anthropological graphics of those who use or who interact with those products and thus it is more useful to know your target and be able to design and create more specific and effective campaigns.

How to insert a video

I am going to show you in a more visual way a small "tutorial" on how to upload a youtube video in GitLab

Another little tip is that each element that we add in GitLab we leave spaces between one element and another because that way it is more difficult for the codes to give us errors

Markdown usefuls tools

Another of the adaptation things that has not cost me but they were not usual in me is working with codes to upload things online, it has been different and I have had to change habits, now I like it because I understand more what I am uploading.
