Press and Exhibitions¶
The exhibitions started just two weeks after I returned from vacation. In the node, they prepared a "Work in Progress" where they called experts from universities and associations such as Fashion Revolution, as well as students from other universities and residents of the community.
This was very useful for us since we realized what state our project was in and what comments we received from people external to our projects if we could synthesize it, and explain it clearly but concisely to people who are experts in these matters. In my particular case, I was able to explain the properties of the material and its application to these sectors to the fashion director of IED KUNSTHAL and the director of Interior Design.
Also in this exhibition I had the pleasure of speaking with the president of Fashion Revolution Euskadi, where I was very interested in this new way of dealing with fashion. A future of regenerative fashion and she invited me to participate in an exhibition of sustainable fashion week, where it would have repercussions at the national level.

We have also been in the news as a group where our projects have been echoed and the community has been interested in our research.In this LINK you can found the interview.
On the day of the presentation of our projects, we also had the visit of the president of the Basque Country and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Spain, where we were able to show them our research.
On that moment was a very important way to show us to the Spanish news and have more people on the community, we apeear in nationals news on diferent channels.
It has also transcended the designs quite a bit and people want to know more, they have made several reports about the project and even explained the recipes live.

And for this month in five subway stations they are showing us our projects.
In the coming months my pieces have been requested in different exhibitions around Europe, at this point I have my profile in ISOLA Design District, where I will exhibit my material in Milan in June 2022, I have also been invited to give several talks and workshops about sustainability and design regenerative.
More recently we have had the privilege of teaching and discussing our projects at the hands of TheEKOLAB, an association dedicated to the dissemination of sustainable fashion and they were interested in projecting our projects in a private club to experts in the sector and people interested in sustainable fashion.
The expectation, exposure and repercussion of my project has been overwhelming and has generated great discussions about sustainable fashion and the future of fashion, for example this one, although small, is very significant since it is broadcast on Spanish national television and is also directed to the Hispanic public in America and Europe.
As a most surprising anecdote and it makes me think about the power and communication that we have is that projects like these reach the mainstream of popular culture and key knowledge is established to people who are not familiar with terms and processes of sustainable fashion.
