During my week of implications & applications, I had 3 big ideas. I was equally inspired by each of them, but I only presented one (I was nervous). After our week 12 , I really wanted to continue experimenting with inflatables and soft robotics. At first, I wanted to create a knee brace that would be more comfortable and thin, while still restricting the movement and protecting the knee. But I changed my idea a bit. Instead of hiding it, I want to develop a design aesthetically pleasing, soft and comfortable. I want to integrate soft artifical muscles and sensors so they can collect data of the injured knee and control the helping muscles. The idea is not to give superhuman strenght tou the knees, but to help support the weight of the body while doing a specific activity.
